My name is Cynthia Gillespie and I'm an
artist.

Rainbo Glass and Silk.com  is the culmination of a
dream.  I began in 1992 as
a home based ceramic shop.  I held classes, sold
greenware, bisque, and supplies.  I began doing
arts and crafts fairs, craft malls etc.

THEN I FOUND GLASS, NOT JUST GLASS BUT
WARM GLASS !!!!!!!!!!!

Then I found Stained Glass and we put them
together and BAM!!

Thus Began Rainbo Glass

I have been working with glass since about 1998.  
When I began there wasn't a whole lot of people
fusing in this part of the country so I learned a lot
by trial and error.  I began teaching other people
what I had learned about 2000.  I have had
students from all over the Midwest.

I show and sell my work at Art Fairs and Galleries
plus now the internet.

We are now also selling a few supplies,  glass,
molds for slumping which we make.
Our students want to get started as soon as they
go home and by selling a few supplies they are
able to do that.
