Kiln Formed Glass Class

Beginning Glass Fusing and Slumping  -  Students will explore the mysteries of fusing glass and making it move in a kiln.  
In this class, students will complete 3 projects, a tile, a soap dish and a drop out that can be used as a candy dish or
candleholder.  All materials are included.  This class discusses and uses both glass kilns and ceramic kilns.  This class is
best taught as a weekend seminar or as 3 separate classes.   Limit 4.    $200.00

Making Molds For Slumping Glass - This will be a hands on class making a plaster mold for slumping glass.  Students will
also make a clay mold to use in slumping.  All material is included.  Limit 3    $75.00

Glass Painting Using Liquid Enamels - Students will design and paint their own tile in 3 separate layers.  We will use liquid
enamels.  All material is included in class.  Pieces will be fired to be picked up.  Limit 3  $50.00

Glass Fusing for Jewelry  -  Students will design, cut and fire a cabochon using stained glass and dichroic glass.  The
second class students will learn how to finish cabochon into a necklace or brooch.  Limit 4.   $55.00

Glass Enameling  -  Have you seen the gorgeous Peggy Karr dishes and wondered how she did that?  This class will give
you a “hands on” go at it.  You will make a 4” ornament which you will take home after it’s fired.  All material is
included.  Limit 4.  $50.00

Kiln Space is Available – You love fusing and slumping but have not gotten a kiln yet.  I’ll fire it for you.  Call for price

Stained Glass Classes

Stained Glass 101  -   Students will learn basic cutting, foiling and soldering skills.  The duration for this class is 6 weeks.  
Students will complete 2 projects and will use class tools.  The first project includes all material.  The second project
will be the student’s choice.  Limit 6.             $125.00

Stained Glass 101A - Students with previous fusing class who have already learned basic cutting skills and want to learn
cold working foil method.  Students will finish 2 projects at their own speed .   Instructor will teach the foil technique
and be available for any questions and give assistance when needed.  $100.00  No time limit.

Stained Glass 102  -   Students will complete 1 project of their own choice with the instructor present to answer all
questions.  Students will purchase all material for project but may use class tools.  This is a perfect class for those who
have done stained glass before but need to hone their skills.  This class will last for 3 weeks at a time.     Limit 6.    $45.00

Glass Junior  -   Kids ages 10-14.  This is a fun class where kids learn basic cutting and copper foil construction methods.  
Students will complete 1 project with all material and use of tools included.  Class runs 3 weeks on Saturday morning.    
Limit 4.   $60.00

Studio Time  -  If you don’t have space to work on your stained glass at home you can come and work in my studio.  
There is an hourly rate of $5.00 and tool rental is available.  Appointments are necessary.
